The object of the players is to assist the princess as much as possible and see her return to the capital. They will gather soldiers and resources, defeat the enemy generals in the lands, pave the way for the princess, and finally have her enter the capital.
The princess will march automatically, ignoring the will of the players. Unless the players tactically help her and sometimes stop her thoughtless attacks, she will most surely disappear in the mist of battles. But there is not much time left to recapture the capital. The longer you wait, the stronger the empire becomes, and soon they will notice this small rebellion.
You must control the princess and her army, and reach the capital in due time. It requires a miracle – but is has to be done.
