In the deck-building game Hypnose, you are a hypnotist who is trying to be better than any others, and to prove that you're the best, you want to lower your opponent's mental resistance to zero. You do this by buying books, courses, hypnotic tools, and weakening effects, then using them in a hypnotic duel. The game is played in turns, and on your turn, you can:
- Discard cards and take cards up to your hand limit and end your turn, or buy cards
- Play a card for its ability
- Play a card for its ability
- Fill your hand with cards up to your hand limit
- Engage in a hypnotic duel: If the attacker and defender tie, nothing happens; if the defender wins, the attacker loses 1 point of mental resistance; and if the attacker wins, the defender loses 1-3 points depending on the cards used.
There are stops on every prime number of the mental resistance tracker, and the loser of a duel always receives a benefit.
The last player with mental resistance wins!
